Sachin Singh Gautam starts at AICES

Sachin Singh Guatam joins AICES as a post doctoral fellow with Dr. Roger A. Sauer in January 2010. He received the Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (2001) from the Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chattisgarh, India and the Master of Technology and Ph.D. in Mechanical with specialization in Solid Mechanics and Design (2003 and 2009, respectively) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. From May 2003 till August 2003 he worked as a Software Engineer with Patni Computer Systems, Mumbai, Inda. From September 2003 till Dec 2003 he was a Sr. Research Associate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. His major research interests are nonlinear continuum mechanics, damage mechanics, applied finite element methods, contact-impact mechanics, adhesion.
