Computational Biomedicine for Translational Research-Symposium Organized by Joint Research Center for Computational Biomedicine
One year after the Joint Research Center for Computational Biomedicine (JRC) was founded a symposium about Computational Biomedicine for Translational Research (CBTR) will be held on October 6-7, 2014 at the University Clinic Aachen.
This symposium will provide a forum where industrial researchers and clinicians can meet and discuss with academic researchers from medicine, biology and computational sciences. The symposium aims at presenting the technological state of the art for successful translational applications. Lectures and discussions sessions will address unmet scientific needs and challenges working towards a roadmap for realizing the promising prospects of data science and modeling for the benefit of medicine.
The JRC for Computational Biomedicine has been established in October 2013 as a partnership between RWTH Aachen University and Bayer Technology Services GmbH. The Graduate School AICES supports the JRC not only through Andreas Schuppert as an Adjunct Professor of AICES, but also through doctoral candidates.
