Stefanie Elgeti started at ILSB, University of Technology in Vienna

AICES Associated Junior Research Group Leader Prof. Stefanie Elgeti was offered a Professorship for leightweight design at TU Vienna. She started there in October 2019. Her path to simulation science started with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, majoring in "Manufacturing Techniques for Microsystems". In 2011, she completed her PhD thesis with the topic "Free-Surface Flows in Shape Optimization of Extrusion Dies". This was followed in the year 2016 by her habilitation on "CAD-Conforming Finite Element Methods in Engineering Design". Since 2011 she is also an Associated Junior Research Group Leader at AICES.
