Edoardo Di Napoli, Ph.D. starts as Postdoctoral Research Associate at AICES

In October 2009 Edoardo Di Napoli, Ph.D. joins the AICES institute as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Edoardo Di Napoli received his Laurea degree in Physics from the 1st University of Rome "La Sapienza" (1997) and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin (2005). From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In the last two years Edoardo Di Napoli, Ph.D. worked as a coordinating manager at the NetIQ corporation as well as a free lance Renewable Energy expert for several private firms. He has research experience in several diverse topics of theoretical physics: from Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Mechanics to String Theory and theoretical Cosmology. His current research focuses on finding methods integrating fundamental theory with complex algorithms and architectures in parallel computing.
