The project "Efficient Modelling of Chip Formation in Orthogonal Cutting Based on Isogeometric Analysis and Modern Methods for Material Characterization” will be conducted for the next two years by Prof. Dr. Stefanie Elgeti, Chair for Computational Analysis of Technical Systems, RWTH Aachen University together with Priv.-Doz. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Zabel, Institut für Spanende Fertigung, TU Dortmund.
