CAMMP Week Pro 2018
The CAMMP Week Pro took place in a youth hostel in Voeren on September 16 - 21, 2018 for the second time and is organized by MathCCES and AICES in cooperation with Forschungszentrum Jülich.
The main idea of the Cammp Week Pro is to solve problems, which are real, open and close to research with mathematical modeling, using the computer (CAMMP = Computational And Mathematical Modeling Program). Additional features include intensive team work, interdisciplinarity and the posibility to grant insight in various institutes at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Students worked together in teams supported by professors and research assistants on problems given by several departments of the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the RWTH Aachen. In total, 31 students participated in the CAMMP Week Pro 2018.
After the very successful second edition of the CAMMP Week Pro in September 2018 the organization of the CAMMP week Pro 2019 has already started. The CAMMP Week Pro 2019 will take place on June 10 – 15, 2019.
