Article by AICES Authors Among 10 Highest Cited in IJNME

The article High-Order XFEM for Curved Strong and Weak Discontinuities written by the former AICES doctoral candidate Kwok Wah Cheng and the former AICES young researcher Dr. Thomas-Peter Fries succeeded in becoming one of the top 10 most highly cited articles in The International Journal of Numerical Methods in Engineering. In 2010, Dr. Fries and Dr. Cheng published the article within the frame of the AICES doctoral program.
