AICES Welcomes Fulbright Scholarship Student
AICES is pleased to welcome Fulbright exchange student Elizabeth Qian, who will conduct a ten-month research study on reduced order modelling. She will be working with Professor Karen Veroy-Grepl and Professor Marin Grepl.
Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science degree in June 2014 from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After her research stay in Germany she will return to MIT to begin her graduate studies.
The Fulbright Program is a highly competitive scholarship program providing grants for international educational exchange to students, scholars and professionals. It was founded by US Senator J. William Fulbright in 1946 and was established to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills.
