AICES Principal Investigator Ali Jannesari Received Research Project Funding from Klaus Tschira Foundation

The complexity of parallel applications and systems, together with the high cost of testing and debugging of parallel programs, will make effective debugging more important than ever. Tools that pinpoint incorrect behavior are an important prerequisite for debugging. However, the tools currently available are not yet prepared to meet the challenges posed by multicore applications with respect to correctness, accuracy and scalability. For this reason we are pleased to announce that the project "CAMSOD - Correctness Analysis for Multicore Software Development", which addresses these challenges in a systematic manner, is granted by Klaus Tschira Foundation.

The Klaus Tschira Foundation promotes projects in science, mathematics and computer science as well as the appreciation for these subjects. The Foundation is committed to new forms of research contribution and supports both the development and the presentation of research results.
