AICES Fellow Denise Degen passed Her Doctoral Exam

Denise Degen started as an AICES Fellow in 2016 and successfully defended her doctoral thesis on July 10, 2020. The title of the public lecture was „Application of the Reduced Basis Method in Geophysical Simulations: Concepts, Implementation, Advantages, and Limitations“. The thesis was titled „Application of the Reduced Basis Method in Geophysical Simulations: Concepts, Implementation, Advantages, and Limitations“. Both has been advised by Prof. Florian Wellmann, Ph.D..
